RV1S9160A, RV1S9060A and RV1S9960A provide low threshold input current, high common mode rejection ratio and miniaturized packaging for high-noise industrial environments.

(TSE: 6723), a leading global supplier of semiconductor solutions, today announced the launch of three new 15Mbps photocoupler systems designed to cope with harsh working conditions in industrial and factory automation equipment.The trend toward higher voltage, compact systems requires stricter international safety standards and environmental solutions that require smaller IC and lower power consumption.The RV1S9x60A series has the best low threshold input current (IFHL) rating: RV1S9160A (SO5) operating current of 2.0mA, RV1S9060A (LSO5) of 2.2mA, and RV1S9960A (LSDIP8) of 3.8mA.
Low power consumption RV1S9x60A photoelectric coupler is capable of effectively suppressing power supply heating. When installed near IGBT or MOSFET power devices, it can be operated at high temperature of 125°C, while saving circuit board space.These devices are targeted at dc-ac power converters, AC servomotors, programmable logic controllers (PLCS), robotic arms, solar and wind input power regulators, and battery management systems for energy storage and charging.
RV1S9x60A photocoupler has a high common mode rejection ratio (noise tolerance) up to 50 kV/ s (min), which can protect the microcontroller and other I/O logic circuits from high voltage peaks while transmitting high-speed signals.The RV1S9x60A series also offers a variety of packages, each with a minimum package area (up to 690 Vrms) and a minimum creeping distance of 4.2mm to 14.5mm to ensure safe operation.
